First a graduated technician since 1979, Laurent was hired as a workshop foreman. He has acquired a large clientele by his way of meeting their needs. The customer quickly became his reason for being in charge of his department.
In 2010, after more than 20 years with the company, he took the opportunity that in front of him him. Indeed, Laurent made the leap and took over the company by partnering with Carole Lahaie, administrative secretary, and above all, his spouse.
Since then, the company has passed on its knowledge to the next generation. Today a foreman, Jean-François Gaudette was already one of the company’s technicians since 2004. In 2011, Martine joined the team as the administrative coordinator, and a year later, it was Gabriel’s turn to take the lead as the service advisor.
In 2013, le Centre du Camion Boucherville moved his business into a new building. The decision to find a larger shop in order to increase repair space and provide a more efficient and modern service, in addition to presenting customers with a brand new waiting area, was essential for the company to increase its presence across the network.
In order to develop a new market, it was with PAI Industries that Centre du Camion Boucherville made an agreement with in 2016, to become the official distribution of its product in the province of Quebec.
Since January 2017, they also acquired the TruckPro banner, a division of UAP Inc., with a reliable network of more than 1100 repair centers across North America.
